Mas Q Alitas: A Popular Restaurant in Sabaneta with Good Wings and Burgers

Mas Q Alitas, Burgers and Ribs is a restaurant in Sabaneta with good wings, burgers and ribs that opened when the pandemic started and is still operating due to having good food.

An expat friend living near this restaurant recommended it about a month ago and I have been to this restaurant three times since it has good food.

My friend told me this restaurant mainly has local Colombian customers, as it hasn’t been discovered by many foreigners since it is located away for popular Parque Sabaneta.

This restaurant opened about 15 months ago when the coronavirus pandemic hit Colombia. It is popular with locals, especially when local sports are on, as it has a big screen TV.

The Food Menu

This restaurant specializes in wings, burgers and ribs. The wings come in orders with 4, 6, 10, 15, 20 or 30 wings for 11,500 to 39,000 pesos.

Also, there are eight burgers on the menu for 10,900 to 16,900 pesos. In addition, there are BBQ ribs for 19,500 pesos for a half rack or 25,500 pesos.

There are also three appetizers on the menu for 8,000 to 12,000 pesos. And there is a kids menu with three options 8,000 to 12,000 pesos.

The Drink Menu

This restaurant has a small drink menu with only a few sodas and other non-alcoholic drinks and water on the menu. Also, they have a few beers and other alcoholic drinks available.

This restaurant is located about four blocks from Parque Sabaneta, which is about a four-minute walk. It is located on a street corner.

Parque Sabaneta is located about a 10-minute walk east from the Sabaneta metro station on the Medellin metro, which is the second to last station going south on Line A.

The Bottom Line – Mas Q Alitas: A Popular Restaurant in Sabaneta with Good Wings, Burgers and Ribs

Mas Q Alitas opened about 15 months ago when the coronavirus pandemic started in Colombia. And it stayed in business due to having good food. It is popular on weekends and also when local sports are on TV.

I have tried the ribs, a burger and BBQ ribs at this restaurant and they have all been good.

The biggest competition to this restaurant for ribs in Sabaneta is Sports Wings in Mayorca mall.  Also, this restaurant has several competitors for burgers in Sabaneta including Chef Burger, Pigasus and Bocadini.
