Ladrillo y Verde is an open-air hidden gem restaurant located in Sabaneta, which has some good food and a nice open-air ambiance.

This restaurant is popular with Colombians. But it hasn’t yet been discovered by many foreigners due to being located several blocks from popular Parque Sabaneta.

The Food Menu

On the menu are several main dishes from the grill including:

Six different steaks for 22,000 to 30,000 pesos
Five different hamburgers for 18,000 to 25,000 pesos
BBQ ribs for 30,000 pesos

Also, there are seven fish dishes on the menu for 20,000 to 30,000 pesos.

Each of the main dishes comes with a choice of fries or baked potato.

In addition, there are six appetizers on the menu for 4,000 to 8,000 pesos. And there are over eight desserts for 8,000 pesos each.

Furthermore, there is an inexpensive “menú del día” lunch special for only 12,000 pesos. This lunch special includes a choice of fish, meat, pork or chicken and comes with a small salad, soup or beans, rice, French fries for baked potato and a juice of the day.

The Drink Menu

This restaurant has a relatively small drink menu. There are several beers available for 8,000 to 10,000 pesos. Also, sangria is available for 10,000 pesos per cup or 40,000 pesos for a pitcher. And a cup of the house wine is 15,000 pesos.

For non-alcoholic drinks there are natural juices, sodas and lemonades for 3,000 to 8,000 pesos.

How to Get to Ladrillo y Verde

This restaurant is located only about six blocks north from popular Parque Sabaneta in Sabaneta.

An easy way to get to Parque Sabaneta is to take the Medellín metro Line A south to the Sabaneta metro station. And the Sabeneta station is only about 10 minutes from the Poblado metro station.

Parque Sabaneta is located about a 10-minute walk east from the Sabaneta station. In addition, there are many people walking on the streets to/from the metro station. So, it’s relatively safe during the day and even after dark – but not too late.
