La Costa Antiquena is a popular restaurant in Sabaneta with good seafood that hasn’t been discovered by many foreigners.

Several Medellin Guru readers asked if there is a good seafood restaurant in Sabaneta. This seafood restaurant is located about four blocks from Parque Sabaneta but hasn’t yet been discovered by many foreigners.

This seafood restaurant was recommended by a Medellin Guru reader and I recently tried it and found that it has good seafood. This is the second seafood restaurant in Sabaneta we have covered. We previously covered El Encanto de Nuquia.

The Food Menu

This restaurant specializes in seafood dishes. There are over 35 seafood dishes on the menu including seafood casseroles, and many types of fish and other seafood dishes priced from 22,000 to 55,000 pesos. The dishes come with coconut rice and a small salad.

Also, there are three ceviche dishes on the menu priced each priced at 26,000 pesos. And there are four non-seafood dishes for 23,000 pesos each.

Finally, there are two desserts on the menu for 7,000 pesos each.

The Drink Menu

This restaurant has a small drink menu. There are two beers on the menu for 5,000 and 6,000 pesos. Also, there are several wines available for 60,000 to 80,000 pesos per bottle. Also, there is a house wine for 15,000 pesos per cup.

For non-alcoholic drinks they have sodas, water, lemonade and natural juices available for 3,500 to 15,000 pesos.

How to Get to La Costa Antiquena

This seafood restaurant is located about four blocks from Parque Sabaneta, which is about a four-minute walk. It is located across the street from Mas Q Alitas.

Parque Sabaneta is located about a 10-minute walk east from the Sabaneta metro station on the Medellin metro, which is the second to last station going south on Line A.

Several Medellin Guru readers have asked if there is a good seafood restaurant in Sabaneta. Yes, there is are two good seafood restaurants popular with locals that hasn’t yet been discovered by many foreigners – La Costa Antiquena in this article and El Encanto de Nuquia.

When I went to the restaurant there were only Colombians in the restaurant, no foreigners. And the waitress said foreigners rarely come to this restaurant. But this restaurant has some good seafood.
