Pinche Guey: A New Mexican Restaurant in Sabaneta With Good Food

Pinche Guey Mexican Grill is a new Mexican restaurant in Sabaneta with a Mexican chef and good Mexican food located in Aves Maria mall.

Pinche Guey was started by a couple and the husband is from Mexico and is the chef. So, he knows authentic Mexican food. The couple also lived in the U.S. for a while.

This new Mexican restaurant is small and it opened recently on June 25, 2021. An expat in Sabaneta recommended this restaurant to me. So, I went to try it out and found out it has good Mexican food.

The Food Menu

This is a Mexican restaurant and you will find several Mexican dishes on the menu including:

• 5 different burrito dishes for 17,500 to 21,500 pesos
• 6 different taco dishes (with 3 tacos each) for 17,500 to 22,000 pesos
• 3 different nacho dishes for 5,000 to 18,000 pesos
• 2 different quesadilla dishes for 15,000 and 16,000 pesos
• 2 different fajita dishes for 30,000 or 35,000 pesos
• 5 different chimichanga dishes for 17,500 to 21,500 pesos

Also, there are three salads on the menu for 15,000 to 17,000 pesos. In addition, there are five bowls on the menu for 17,500 to 20,500 pesos.

Quesadilla dish for 16,000 pesos

Plus, there are combos on the menu for than one person for 45,000 to 70,000 pesos

Nachos sometimes a lunch special for 15,000 pesos

The Drink Menu

Pinche Guey has a very small drink menu with only a few sodas and other non-alcoholic drinks and water on the menu. Also, they have a few beers.

How to Get to Pinche Guey Mexican Grill

Pinche Guey is located in Aves Maria mall in Sabaneta that is a few blocks from Parque Sabaneta, which is about a five minute walk.

Parque Sabaneta is located about a 10-minute walk east from the Sabaneta metro station on the Medellin metro, which is the second to last station going south on Line A. In addition, there are also taxis available from the Sabaneta metro station that can take you to Aves Maria mall.

The Bottom Line – Pinche Guey: A New Mexican Restaurant in Sabaneta With Good Food

Pinche Guey recently opened and it is already popular during lunch due to having good Mexican food.

This is a very small restaurant located in a mall, which we normally don’t cover on this site. There are only a four tables in the restaurant but more table are available outside the restaurant.

This isn’t a typical mall fast food place, as it has good Mexican food cooked by a Mexican chef. So, we wanted to let readers know about this new restaurant.

The biggest competition to Pinche Guey in Sabaneta is El Sombrero, which is an authentic Mexican restaurant with Mexican owners.
