We tried out Black Pepper last night and the steaks were great. I had the New York steak and my friend had the Rib Eye. The steaks were delicious and plan to return. But as usual in Colombian restaurants you have to ask or even beg for a check when you want to leave as they don´t seem to want to turnover the tables.
The one and only time I went to Black Pepper, the steak that arrived was, no kidding, 50% grissle. After some exchanges with the manager, they reluctantly agreed to not charge me for it. Seems like they are not used to people expressing justified dissatisfaction. Otherwise, food was just okay +. No real “WOW” factor for me or my guests. Nice setting, however.
Nice article about this steakhouse. Black Pepper has some great steaks in my experience and it’s one of my favorties. Each time I have been there the service has been good.
I have been to Black Pepper several times. It’s a nice steakhouse with some good steaks. My favorites are the New York steak and the salmon. A Colombian friend told me the chef was trained in the U.S.
Nice post. We went to Black Pepper recently and it has some excellent steaks, good side items and good service. I have recommended this steakhouse to several friends.
