In my case the only drawback during the previous meetups was that I was unable to converse with anybody except the person immediately next to me. Some of the venues must operate on the assumption that if they pump up the volume then passersby will be drawn to the place on the assumption that that’s where all the action is. D’oh!

This is a great idea to reunite all the people that wish to experience Colombia. They can get valuable feedback and information about the cities, places they can visit and what to expect in terms of culture.

      • Hi Henry, thanks. Many Medellin Guru readers asked that we start a discussion forum and also host Medellin Guru meetup events. So, we now have both.

Great! BTW did you see “My Colombia” half hour on CNN? Some good points… it didn’t mention you know who or his product. Bad… makes Colombia look like a bunch of accordion players and cowboys. We love our accordion players and Llaneros, but there was not word one on Medellin. Bogota and Cartagena were mentioned by name, nothing more, and Armenia. Dunno the point of ignoring our great cities. .

    7. Thanks, I look forward to the first Medellin Guru meet up and plan to go. Any idea when this will be?

    8. Jeff Excellent very good initiative ,to improve interact and share experiences. have my assistance when the forums are done
