This non-profit charity organization started out in Colombia and has been expanding rapidly with clean water and disaster relief projects mostly in Latin America. And they have grown to where they have chapters in 29 different countries.

More About 20Mission Cerveza
20Mission Cerveza is a large brewery in Medellín that opened in September 2018 in a huge warehouse space in the Manila barrio of El Poblado.
20Mission Cerveza is not just a new brewery with six types of high-quality beer. It’s also a large venue with a restaurant, bar and a big space for events.
The name 20Mission Cerveza itself is a spin-off of a co-living space in San Francisco called 20Mission, which is situated on the corner of 20th Street and Mission.
The Menu at 20Mission Cerveza
20Mission Cerveza currently has six house beers available on tap. The six house beers were made for beer lovers and include Blonde, Pale Ale, IPA, Porter, Witbier and Saison. The also have flights of beers available, where you have the chance to try small samples of four or all six of the beers.
In addition, to the beers on the menu, 20Mission Cerveza has several house cocktails and beer cocktails priced at 15,000 to 18,000 pesos. Also, there are six non-alcoholic drinks available for 6,000 pesos each.
The food on the menu is really good and contains the highest quality ingredients sourced from local providers with sauces made from scratch. The outcome is gastronomic fare without a pretentious environment.
There are five appetizers on the menu priced at 13,000 to 22,000 pesos. I went to 20Mission Cerveza recently with some friends and we tried two appetizers: the Chicharrones and the cheese platter appetizers. And both appetizers were excellent.
Also, there are three salads on the menu priced at 12,000 to 15,000 pesos.
The main entree dishes on the menu are priced at 23,000 to 45,000 pesos. Two of the favorites of the group of friends I went with were the BBQ ribs and the Jerk chicken. And I highly recommend the ribs priced at 45,000 pesos.
Finally, there are three desserts on the menu, each priced at 11,000 pesos.
How to Get to 20Mission Cerveza
The nearest Medellín Metro station is the Poblado station on the A Line. 20Mission Cerveza is located about a 10-minute walk from the metro station.
But we don’t recommend walking after dark unless you are in a group, as the route is though a warehouse/commercial area without many people after dark. To be safe, it’s better to take a taxi from the metro station and it’s only a 5,600-peso minimum fare taxi ride.
Taxis are another option to get 20Mission Cerveza from your location in the metro area. Just provide the driver the address below.
Address: Calle 16 # 43F-66, Manila barrio of El Poblado in Medellín

Photos from Our February Medellin Guru Meetup

The Bottom Line: February Medellin Guru Meetup at 20Mission Cerveza
In response to demand from readers, Medellin Guru is hosting our ninth Medellin Guru meetup at 20Mission Cerveza in El Poblado.
This meetup is a great way to meet other expats in Medellín. It’s also a good way to get your questions answered from several experts we invite to the meetup and also from experienced expats who have been living in Medellín for many years.
Also, a free beer is available at this month’s meetup for the first 75 guests, courtesy of 20Mission Cerveza.
In addition, about nine months ago we launched the Medellin Guru Events & Discussion Forum on Facebook for readers to keep up with our events and enable discussions between readers. This group already has over 1,000 members and is very active with over 1,000 posts, comments and reactions in the past month.
Also, we added a Medellin Guru group on Meetup.com to enable following our events. Furthermore, we looked at 9 reasons to join this new Medellin Guru group.
Many readers of the Medellin Guru website asked that we start having Medellin Guru events and also provide a discussion forum for readers. So, we now have both.

Nice photos, looking forward to going to the meetings once we have moved to Medellin (probably next spring). I appreciate all the time taken to produce these great write-ups, they’re informative and enjoyable, keep up the great work.
I’ve never been one for ribs but 20 Mission’s beef ribs changed all that. They were the best I’ve ever had; the word spectacular comes to mind. I made the mistake of ordering the half portion but from now on the full portion is the only way to go. The mushroom appetizer really put us in the right mood but the above photo of the Chicharron appetizer looks mighty tempting.
Thanks for hosting your popular events. Please put me down for 1 RSVP for this month’s event.
Hi David, thanks. I put you down for 1 RSVP. See you at 20Mission Cerveza on May 21.
Hi Jeff, I will be “brand new” in Medellin on the 21st, but still would like to attend if i can make it…..(safely!) . I forget what time is the meet. If it is at night or late evening, i will definately NOT come. But otherwise would like to. Your newletter is very imformative and gives a lot of really good advice. I very much appreciate your service to the travelling community.
I put you down for 1 RSVP. The meetup is at 7pm but usually some come early due to the free beers.
