Randy’s Beach Sports Bar & Grill in Medellín is Closed

Randy’s Beach Sports Bar & Grill was the newest sports bar in Medellín that opened in February 2018. It was located in Parque Lleras in El Poblado and was quite popular.

EDITORS NOTE: RANDY’S BEACH SPORTS BAR & GRILL IS NOW CLOSED.

This sports bar reportedly closed in late 2018.

Randy’s was a unique sports bar in Medellín, as it has a beach theme with decorations that include dolphins, nets, starfish, surf boards and much more. They even had piña coladas served in pineapples.

An expat friend living in El Poblado recommended this new sports bar to me not long after is opened. And I finally went about a month later to check it out for lunch.

More About Randy’s Beach Sports Bar & Grill

Randy’s Beach Sports Bar & Grill was owned by expat Randy Cosman. Randy opened this new sports bar in February 2018 as he felt there wasn’t a sports bar in Medellín that made him feel at home.

This sports bar had nine TVs to watch sports including one projection TV with a large screen. Also, it has a DIRECTV sports package. So, it was a good place to watch sports like soccer, football, basketball, baseball and more.

The Bottom Line: Randy’s Beach Sports Bar & Grill

Randy’s Beach Sports Bar & Grill was a great place to watch sports and have some good food with good service. In only a few months, it become a popular location in Parque Lleras. My friend living nearby told me that this sports bar was very busy on the weekends. But this sports bar didn’t survive long. It opened in February 2018 and closed in late 2018.

In addition, similar to three other Parque Lleras sports bars (Ay Wey Bar & Grill, Hooters and Patrick’s Irish Pub), Randy’s also had attractive women waitresses.

Randy’s opened after we published an article about popular sports bars in Medellín in early February 2018. So, we added this sports bar but later removed it after it closed. But Medellín still has 6 popular sports bars in Medellín, which are all good places to watch sports with friends and family.

Looks pretty good Jeff. would be great for watching sports. Prices seem reasonable as well. I don’t watch much sports, but like the Superbowl, and the Olympics.
