Interesting article, I really like Sabaneta. Easily beats El Poblado and Mayorca mall has shops that are cheaper than the malls in El Poblado. El Poblado is overrated.
I agree with you that El Poblado is overrated. Expats need to get out and discover the rest of the metro area. Sabaneta is really nice and more walkable.
