Restaurante Delimar is a popular seafood restaurant in Medellín with fresh and tasty seafood conveniently located in El Poblado.

The crowd in this restaurant is primarily local Colombians who know fresh seafood and good values.

Also, the coconut rice is very good here. In the Caribbean in Colombia, coconut rice is brown and has an almost molasses flavor. At this seafood restaurant in Medellín, it’s white and coconutty delicious. Also, the seafood casserole here is very good.

I had walked by this restaurant many times and saw if nearly filled with customers each time but didn’t try it until recently.

Considering the restaurant was fairly busy when I went, the service was good. It’s an informal restaurant with friendly staff. And the seafood was fresh and tasty.

This seafood restaurant is located in El Poblado across the street from the Halong Vietnamita restaurant.

The Bottom Line: Restaurante Delimar with Good Seafood

Restaurante Delimar is very popular with Colombians. But this restaurant hasn’t been discovered by many foreigners since it’s not located near Parque Lleras or Provenza. When I went for lunch with a Medellin Guru reader, we were the only foreigners in the busy restaurant.

If you like seafood, I recommend this restaurant. And I plan to return to try out more of the seafood dishes on the menu.
