Thanks for the interesting article. I agree there are some big downsides to el poblado,
El Poblado is overrated, overpriced and hilly. Why come to Colombia and live in Westernized El Poblado. I did not come to Colombia for Pizza Hut, Burger King, Hooters, Dominos, KFC, MDonalds, Starbucks, Papa Johns and Subway.
I agree with you. I did not come to Colombia for all that U.S. fast food, I prefer the local menu of the day at the local restaurants where I live in Laureles. It took me less than a week to decide I did not like El Poblado and I now avoid going there. El Poblado has horrible traffic and is overpriced.
Provenza is east of Parque Lleras, not west as mentioned in the article.
