Kabuki is a popular Japanese and Peruvian restaurant in Medellín with two locations. The two restaurants have a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian food with ceviche, sushi and other seafood.

This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in Medellín. I have eaten at this restaurant several times and the service and food has been very good. Kabuki has two restaurants in Medellín, which are both located in El Poblado.

The chefs at this restaurant reportedly include a chef from Osaka, Japan and a chef from Peru. So, the restaurant has some fusion of Japanese and Peruvian food.

In my experience, the dishes at this restaurant chain are well-prepared and well-presented. Also, there are some creative dishes on the menu.

More About Kabuki

Kabuki reportedly first opened in Medellín in 2010.  The restaurant offers Nikkei cuisine, which fuses the most exotic and representative flavors of Japan and Peru.

The essence of the food at this restaurant is based on seafood-based preparations enriched with characteristic ingredients of both countries.

The fusion of Japanese and Peruvian food started with the first Japanese who arrived in Peru. These Japanese immigrants used the food techniques of Japan with the ingredients from Peru.

So, in Peru you will find many restaurants with a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian food. And there are a few of these fusion restaurants located in Medellín.
