More than 8,000 Christmas figures for Envigado were designed under the concept “In Envigado the tradition is reborn at Christmas”.
The Christmas lights display in Envigado in 2019 is primarily located at Parque Envigado but there are Christmas lights in several other locations in Envigado, including:
- Débora Arango Library
- Las Palmas Roundabout
- The Founders Bridge
- Carrera 42, 43 and 43A
- Iglesia San Jose
The Christmas lights display in Envigado for 2019 had 50 employees working on the design and were mainly female heads of household.
The Envigado Christmas lights will be on display from November 29 to January 6 from 6 pm to midnight each day.

How to Get to Parque Envigado
An easy way to get to Parque Envigado is to take the Medellín metro Line A to the Envigado station. https://medellinguru.com/metro/
Parque Envigado is located about a 12-minute walk east from this metro station – note this is an up-hill walk. There are many people walking on the streets to/from the metro station. So, it’s relatively safe during the day and even at night during the busy Christmas season.
In addition, there are frequent and inexpensive metro buses that run from the Envigado metro station to and from Parque Envigado.
Furthermore, any taxi driver in Medellín will know where Parque Envigado is located. It’s also relatively easy to catch a taxi at Parque Envigado.

The bottom line is that Parque Envigado is a popular park in the Aburrá Valley. And during the Christmas season in 2019 with the Christmas lights display this year, Parque Envigado will be even more popular and packed with people each weekend.
Envigado has a nice Christmas lights display for 2019. Locals from around Medellín come to Parque Envigado, particularly during the Christmas holidays. But in my opinion, the 2019 Christmas lights display in Parque Sabaneta is much nicer and more popular.
