Concerts celebrating local jazz. On this occasion, BERPS is presented, a group formed in 2022 by six musicians from Medellín. This sextet has already made waves by securing second place at the prestigious Voices of Jazz festival in Cartagena, demonstrating their skill and potential on a national stage. BERPS draws inspiration from iconic jazz figures like Chick Corea and Esperanza Spalding, blending their influences into a unique sound that focuses on both creating original music and interpreting classic jazz pieces, committed to the creation and interpretation of jazz.

“Noche de Jazz en El Tesoro” features the University of Michigan Jazz Quintet, bringing a night of improvisation and musical exploration. The ensemble delves into various jazz languages, emphasizing musical interaction and the development of a unique sound. Attendees can expect a dynamic performance that showcases the versatility and creativity inherent in jazz music.
