The Bottom Line: La Octava Maravilla – A Restaurant with a View in Sabaneta
La Octava Marvilla Mirador has an amazing view of Medellín and the Aburrá Valley. In my opinion, the view from this restaurant is better than the views from the two Las Palmas Miradors.
Also, this is a restaurant that has better food and drinks than the street food and drinks available at the two Las Palmas Miradors. Also, unlike the two Las Palmas Miradors, La Octava Maravilla Mirador is a restaurant with a roof if it rains.
Furthermore, this restaurant in Sabaneta has the best view out of all the restaurants I have been to in Medellín and the Aburrá Valley over the past 8+ years.
Surprisingly La Octava Marvilla hasn’t been discovered by many foreigners. The few times I have gone to this restaurant there were no other foreigners in the restaurant. And the waiters I talked to told me that rarely do foreigners visit this restaurant.
Also, keep in mind it gets chilly where this restaurant is located, high up the hills in Sabaneta. So, dress appropriately.
The bottom line is this is a hidden gem restaurant with an amazing nighttime view of Medellín and the Aburrá Valley. So, we highly recommend La Octava Marvilla Mirador in Sabaneta for the views.
