The choir’s inaugural performance was at the world’s largest choir competition: “Cincinnati International Choir Competition” in Ohio. Competing against international choirs from different parts of the world\, they were awarded the gold medal for best Gospel group\, and silver medals in the Mixed Choirs (Classical Music) and Spirituals categories. \nFrom the moment they won the international competition\, the choir has had highly notable performances including a performance for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House in December 2012 and then a second performance in 2015.
